
About the recipe
A very easy recipe for everyone with the unique buffalo oregano sausages that, together with peppers, thyme and fresh tomato, create the best appetizer for your tsipouro or beer... Of course...YOU CAN!!!

Materials:
2 packages of Buffalo Oregano Sausages - BORAS
4 large green peppers and 1 red one
1 large onion
2 cloves garlic
2 large ripe tomatoes
4 tbsp olive oil
fresh thyme
fresh oregano
1 tsp sugar
salt, pepper, cumin
1/2 glass of ouzo or white wine
Execution:
In a large pan with a lid, heat the olive oil and then add the chopped onion and sauté over medium heat. Add the peppers, cut into thin slices, and mix well.
Add the Buffalo oregano sausages whole or cut into thick pieces (if we add them whole, we will have to pierce them well with a fork).
Add the chopped garlic and sauté until the peppers are soft and the sausages are golden brown. Then add the cumin, pepper, a little salt and deglaze with the ouzo or wine.
Let the alcohol evaporate and add the tomatoes, after first grating them. Add a little oregano, a little thyme and the sugar.
Cover with a lid and let it simmer over medium heat for about 20 minutes.
Serve with a little thyme and if desired, add a little grated feta cheese to the sauce at the end.
