
About the recipe
A very tasty and healthy sandwich that will give you the energy you need but with low fat!!

Materials:
1 package of slices of smoked Kerkini buffalo leg
2-3 dried figs
Honey mustard
Fig balsamic vinegar
Pickled cucumber slices
wild arugula leaves (or any salad you like)
2 multigrain bread rolls
Execution:
Preparation for the dried fig sauce: This suggestion for the dried fig sauce is a simple process and will give you the opportunity to use it in other recipes such as sauce for roasted pork or buffalo.
In a small non-stick saucepan, add 2 or 3 chopped dried figs and 1 glass of cold water. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat. After about 20 minutes on low heat, the sauce is ready. Drain any liquid and add the sauce to the multi. Add 3 tablespoons of mustard and 1 tablespoon of balsamic cream. Stir briefly. Store the sauce in a glass jar and place in the refrigerator. After 1 day, it is ready to serve.
We make the sandwich: We chose a multi-grain wholemeal bread that highlights with its unique flavor the sweet and sour combination of the sauce and the intense flavor of the smoked buffalo meat. We cut the bread in half and place a few leaves of lettuce or arugula if we want. We add some of the sauce on top and then place a thick slice of the buffalo leg. We top with sauce and place another slice. Ideally, we added sliced pickles.
